A few years ago, a dream was born for a Christian radio station that would broadcast right from Slave Lake, AB.  Eventually, as the Lord led, a volunteer approached some local businessmen to see if they would be interested in pursuing this idea.  The volunteer approached some other local believers.  They all agreed that it was a good idea to pursue, and contact was made with CIAM radio.  The year was 2006.  Within a year, they had approached the CRTC and asked for the call letters YJLU - Yes, Jesus loves you!  They had also received Charitable Society status and even had a home for the radio station to broadcast from.   Renovations began in the broadcast area and the equipment was brought in.

 In the month of October of 2010, we moved into a larger and newly renovated office. YJLU is an ever-growing community of believers, and has been blessed beyond what we ever could've hoped. We are a non-profit, community organization; and as our broadcasting capabilities expand, there is ever more room for volunteers.
